How it Works
Free roam VR is a great way to get into VR. Follow these simple steps: book a session, turn up at our venue, get a short briefing, and play. Here’s what to expect when you visit us.
Book your session
Book online or get in touch. We’ll confirm your slot and group size. You can choose which game to play when you arrive—from short shooters to longer escape rooms, we’ll help you pick the right one. See our pricing for 60 minute sessions.
Arrive at Treforest
We’re at Unit 29, Business Development Centre, Treforest Industrial Estate, Pontypridd (CF37 5UR). We’re inside Treforest Escape Rooms, so you can combine VR with our escape rooms for a full day of fun. There’s free on-site parking. We’re a short drive from Cardiff and easily reached from the Valleys and M4.
Briefing and kit-up
When you arrive, we’ll run through safety and how the headsets work. You’ll get a wireless VR headset and a Striker VR Mavrik Pro so you can move freely in the arena. We’ll make sure everyone is comfortable before you step into the game arena.
Play in the arena
Our free roam arena is a dedicated play space. You can walk, duck, and move freely while staying in a safe zone. You’ll see and interact with your friends in the same virtual world – work together, compete, or explore depending on the game. We have games for all ages and group sizes.
After your session
Once you’re done, we’ll get you out of the headsets, we can look up your scores and you’re free to go – or book another round. If you’re at Treforest Escape Rooms, you can head straight into an escape room for even more immersive fun.
